Saffron Bouquet

A little careful preparation and maintenance will keep your flowers looking beautiful for as long as possible.

Carefully remove all wrapping and packaging from your flowers, but do not cut any twine or wire tied around the stems at this stage as this is holding your flowers into their skilfully arranged shape.

Use a scrupulously clean vase filled approximately two-thirds full with freshly drawn room temperature water.

Trim approximately 2cm off each stem diagonally using sharp scissors, knife or secateurs.

Although your stems will have been carefully prepared by us, it’s important that you remove any leaves below the waterline as these can quickly cause the water to turn cloudy and produce bacteria that reduces the life of your flowers.

Place your flowers in your chosen vase and, optionally if you wish, cut the twine or wire to let your arrangement relax a little into the shape of your vase.

Top up with fresh water on the second day and change the water completely every two or three days.

Remove any wilted flowers as soon as you see them.

Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight, and in a cool room to prolong their life.

Bouquets will be delivered in a Claridge's jade gift bag with tissue and water pack.
