About Us
Claridge’s Flowers are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Floral Designer to join our Contracts Department. As part of our ever-growing team, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional floral design and support services for our prestigious 5-star hospitality clients.
We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, consistent, and detail-oriented. Customer service is at the heart of what we do, so professionalism, presentation, and confidence in working within high-end environments, where we are always “on show” are essential.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), based on a seven-day operation. Flexibility is required, as shifts may fall on any day from Monday to Sunday, including a mix of social and unsocial hours (unsocial hours are defined as those worked between 11:00pm and 5:00am).

About the Role
As a member of the Contracts Team, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale floral installations across commercial, corporate, and hospitality spaces. This is a hands-on, creative, and fast-paced role requiring precision, teamwork, and a strong eye for design and detail.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will support the smooth execution of all installations and maintenance contracts, ensuring each project meets the highest design and service standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Contracts Lead in designing and creating large-scale floral installations in line with briefs and seasonal themes.
- Condition and prepare flowers and foliage for installations.
- Ensure all floral designs meet the company’s aesthetic and quality standards.
- Participate in the setup, installation, and breakdown of floral displays.
- Handle logistics and transportation of floral materials and equipment.
- Ensure installations are delivered on time and within client specifications.
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance and refreshment of long-term floral contracts.
- Replace and rotate stock to ensure displays remain fresh and visually appealing.
- Provide operational support to the Contracts Manager in coordinating day-to-day logistics and team activity.
- Contribute to planning meetings and design walkthroughs to ensure clarity of scope and logistics.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in floral design, ideally with exposure to large-scale installations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, freelancers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in high-end environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach.
- Creative and visual communication skills, such as:
- Ability to produce simple design proposals or sketches.
- Proficiency in Canva (or similar digital tools) for creating visual presentations and mood boards.
- Ability to conceptualise and develop designs for special events and seasonal displays (e.g. Christmas decorations, themed hotel installations, one-off creative projects).
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential for handling transport and logistics when required) and legally eligible to drive a transit van.
